MeTV Presents “Halloween BOO-Nanza” with "The Wizard of Oz"
MeTV is celebrating the scariest of seasons with its month-long “Halloween BOO-Nanza,” featuring a lineup of classic horror favorites for the whole family. Highlights include an unedited presentation of The Wizard of Oz, airing on free broadcast television for the first time in decades.
Special airings of the beloved film will be hosted by Collector’s Call star Lisa Whelchel and MeTV horror icon Svengoolie, who will offer his signature take on the classic movie.
The network is also adding plenty of thrills and surprises throughout the month, including Svengoolie and House of Sven double features, a broadcast of the hit musical The Wiz, and full days of Halloween-themed programming of MeTV classic series.
