- Founded one of New York’s oldest social service agencies in 2012, an alternative to incarcerating offending youths

- Received The New York Foundlings Lifetime Achievement Award in 2015

- Received the Eleanor Roosevelt Award in 2011

- Been on Hot Bench since Season 9

- Prior to Hot Bench, was the host of criminal justice show, “Making the Case”

- Recognized as one of the nation’s top lawyers under 40 by the National Bar Association

- Dedicated her legal career to the practice of criminal law

- Earned her Juris Doctorate from Southern University Law Center

- Was an Associate Municipal Judge for the city of Dallas in 2018

- Founded and managed her own criminal defense firm

- Been on Hot Bench since Season 9

- Graduated from Yale University and Stanford Law School

- Participated in high-profile trials representing clients such as Samsung and Google

- Co-founded a family law practice specializing in the representation of high-income individuals in divorce and family matters in 2016

- Been named a Super Lawyers ‘Rising Star’ six times

- Appointed as a member of the L.A. County Bar Association’s President’s Advisory Committee on Women in the Legal Profession

- Appointed as a temporary Judge by the LA County Superior Court Temporary Judge Program
