This baseball season, The U is taking viewers out to the ball game with CHSN coverage of seven regular season Chicago White Sox games, beginning with the Sox vs. Cubs Crosstown Series, simulcast on The U. 

The U is Skytown! Watch the powerful women of The Chicago Sky dominate the court this 2025 season in one preseason game and thirty regular season games broadcast live on The U. 

In addition to thirty-one games on The U, select Chicago Sky games are carried on regional television stations in 2025.

Sports Edition is a weekly program featuring veteran sports broadcaster Kenny McReynolds going one-on-one with the coaches, student champions and professional sports personalities who all play a role in the great tradition of sports excellence

The U is the flagship home of the IHSA Television Network for championships in Girls Flag Football, Boys Football and Girls and Boys Basketball.

In addition, Game of the Week spotlights Chicago area high school football and basketball games throughout the season.
