The Country’s Oldest Black Tennis Club is Keeping the Sport Alive in Bronzeville
The Chicago Prairie Tennis Club has introduced generations of families to the game since 1912. Now, the club is raising $50,000 to repair decades-old courts and revive a youth program that launched pro players. Block Club’s Jamie Nesbitt Golden has the story.
