Will Bring Chicago Home Make It to the Ballots?
Mayor Brandon Johnson’s “Bring Chicago Home” referendum is in jeopardy after a judge ordered all votes on the issue from the March 19th ballot be thrown out. Block Club Chicago’s Quinn Myers explains the ordinance that would tax properties over $1 million and put that money toward homelessness prevention and why it’s causing major disagreement.
